What people are saying about the toolkit.
The Researchful Practice Toolkit is an invaluable resource to support in-depth research within the early years sector. Offering extensive knowledge and best practice around reflective action research, it provided early years practitioners the confidence to undertake their own research projects across a wide range of potential areas.
I can’t recommend this toolkit enough. It is well developed being presented and designed in a way to support and encourage staff in their research journey all packaged in an approachable and succinct format, that could empower all staff to get involved. I really feel this toolkit can make a significant impact on the quality of reflective practice within the early years sector, and lead to more research from within settings that can potentially be so powerful, relevant and impactful.
Research is sometimes seen as something remote and distant done by academics, but it doesn’t have to be like that. When practitioners research their own practice, they can work together to address their own questions and concerns and improve the learning and teaching in their settings.
Researchful practice can include case studies and learning stories as well as more formal evaluation reports and surveys. This user-friendly toolkit is a great resource to support practitioners in their quest to improve their early years pedagogy through reflection and researchful collaboration.
